Privacy at Temple Services
Updated November 1, 2026. Temple Services helps Sri Radha Kalachandji Temple volunteers coordinate laundry service.
Information on the website
Volunteer names, roles, recurring schedules, and availability notes are visible to visitors. Submitted laundry checklists, notes, photos, and backup requests are also visible to visitors. Please include only information intended for the volunteer group and avoid sensitive personal details.
Signing in
Only active volunteers whose email address has been added by an administrator can submit updates. Google sign-in verifies your account identity and email, then links your Google account ID to your volunteer record. The website does not access your Gmail messages, contacts, or Google Drive files. Your Google password is never sent to this website.
Where email-code sign-in is enabled, we use your email address to send a short-lived code. Codes are stored as hashes, expire after ten minutes, and can be used only once. Email sign-in is available only after an email delivery provider has been configured.
Sign-in email addresses are shown to administrators rather than included in the public volunteer directory. Administrators can update volunteer records and access permissions. Submitted updates record the signed-in volunteer's identity.
Storage and service providers
Cloudflare hosts the website, stores application records in D1, and stores photos in R2. Google provides Google sign-in and the fonts used on the schedule page. Resend delivers sign-in emails when that option is enabled. These providers process information needed to deliver their services, including connection details.
The website uses a secure sign-in cookie that lasts up to 30 days. Signing out invalidates the session. Temporary limits on sign-in attempts use hashed connection identifiers. The website does not sell volunteer information or use it for advertising.
Keeping information accurate
Ask an administrator or your coordinator to correct your record or to request removal of information. Deactivating a volunteer prevents sign-in and removes them from the public directory while preserving service history. There is currently no automatic deletion schedule for service records and photos.
